A flash of color against a gray wall, a torn photograph taped together with bright blue tape, a glimpse of nature, raw and untrammeled: the origin of the idea isn't as significant as the search for clarity and what emerges as a result. Inspiration is fueled by curiosity and direction is revealed through the process of searching. The thin transparent layers of stratum beneath the final layer creates mystery and richness. It is evidence of change that helps me understand my relationship to the natural world.
